Dr. Long is board certified in both Plastic
Surgery and General Surgery.
She is a graduate of the Howard University's baccalaureate
program and the College of Medicine and completed her General Surgery training at North Shore University Hospital. She then
went onto the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she was the first African-American to complete the Plastic
Surgery Fellowship Program and felt to be one of the two best technical surgeons to ever train at that program. Her
next move was to the equally famous Emory University Hospital Plastic Surgery program to complete fellowships in Aesthetic
and Breast Surgery and Oncologic and Microsurgical Reconstruction.
She has been in
private practice in the New York City area for the past twelve years specializing in Cosmetic Surgery. She is also an Attending
Plastic Surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital, MEETH and the North Shore LIJ Staten Island Regional Burn Center
